2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Career and Life Development

In order to enable students to fully think about and fully prepare for their personal career development, our school is committed to promoting School-based Career and Life Planning Education. On the one hand, it is connected with our school curriculum, and on the other hand, it broadens students' horizons, so that students have more opportunities to get in touch with the professional world and learn about various pathways to further studies.

The Career and Life Planning curriculum for junior forms mainly focuses on developing students' interests e.g. "ECA Day" on Wednesdays, S.3 Subjects Exhibition and etc. For senior forms, the main foci are the student's personal planning, exploration of further studies, and work experience. We take part in Project WeCan, work with business enterprises and connect with the community (e.g. CLAP@JC) in order to organize diversified activities like seminars, visits, marketplace experiences, life planning, counseling, etc. to let students share life stories through interacting with different people as well as design their own personal growth journey and thus find out the direction for their career planning. Career and Life Planning Lesson is for all S.1-6 students. It helps students to sort out their learning experiences and get to know the diverse life pathways. We also student-teacher conferences in small groups and offer personal counseling sessions.
