2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Self-Regulated Learning

In recent years, our school curriculum design has been focusing on four areas namely Self-Regulated Learning, eLearning, Collaborative Learning and Differentiated Learning. Through the ongoing renewal of the school curriculum, innovative and highly effective design of the teaching activities, enriching and diversified learning activities, we not only can cater for the students' learning diversity but also can help them to achieve deeper levels of learning.

Having the initiative to study on their own and mastering the self-study skills are the keys to successful learning!

In recent years, the school has vigorously promoted students' self-learning, and teachers have become the facilitators of students' learning. Teachers have adopted the "flipped classroom" model and students are required to come prepared for the elessons by completing the assigned tasks, such as watching video clips or completing pre-tasks on electronic applications (Apps) or study guides. In class, teachers and students can conduct more in-depth discussions and presentations. Finally, students do different assignments after class to extend their learning.

We have been teaching our students the note-taking skill since S.1 so as to cultivate in them the habit of organizing what they have learned.

With the popularity of bringing your own devices (BYOD) to the school, students have made their notes fully electronic, making it easier for them to organize, archive and review what they have learned and thought about.
