STEAM 跨科研習 培養學生創新思維

Interdisciplinary Approach to Learning

學校在中二級推行「思創好世界」STEAM專題研習計劃,引入Design Thinking(「設計思維」),讓學生就現實問題發揮創意,跳出千篇一律的框架,嘗試設計解決方案。計劃主題為「樂齡科技」,除了在「生活與社會」範疇增加學生對長者現況的關懷和了解,還在「科技範疇」認識現時樂齡科技的發展。計劃鼓勵學生將知識融會貫通,創作能解決問題的小工具,最後利用多元形式,匯報「創作成果」。學生作品獲得公開展示機會,以及正面回饋與肯定,學生備受鼓舞,更加積極發揮創意,衍生更多不同的新意念。

STEAM 跨科研習為教育思潮帶來新方向,裝備學生以正面態度、創新思維,迎接世界的挑戰,期望孩子們對未來,能想高、想遠一點,造就更多無限可能。

The school has implemented the STEAM project Creating a Better World in Secondary 2. It introduces Design Thinking as an approach to encourage students to unleash their creativity and think outside the box when tacklingreal-world problems, aiming to design innovative solutions. The project focuses on the theme of "Technology for the Elderly”. It not only increases students' awareness and understanding of the current situation of the elderly in the "Life and Society" domain but also familiarizes them with thedevelopment of technology for the elderly in the "Technology" domain.

The project encourages students to integrate knowledge and create small tools that can solve problems. In the end, they showcase their creative outcomes through diverse forms of presentation. The opportunity for publicexhibition, as well as positive feedback and recognition, greatly motivate thestudents, inspiring them to be more proactive in unleashing their creativity and generating new ideas.

The interdisciplinary nature of STEAM research and learning brings a new directionto educational trends, equipping students with a positive attitude and innovative thinking to face the challenges of the world. We sincerely hope that children will aspire to think big and far for the future, creating endless possibilities.

結合傳統與創新 開拓5G智慧校園

A Blend of Tradition and Innovation: 5G Campus for Smart Life

學校與香港高等教育科技學院,中國醫藥及文化研究中心、綠芝園Farm 66及 SMARTONE 香港攜手合作推動「創科神農氏—5G 水耕中藥培植計劃」。

項目讓本校同學透過水耕種植中藥,提升對中草藥的認識及中華文化的了解。進科研設備進行草藥分析研究,修及就業發展作出計劃。

The school collaborates with the Hong Kong Institute of Higher Education in Technology, China Medicine and Culture Research Center,Green Farm 66, and SMARTONE Hong Kong to promote the "Innovationand Technology Project of Shen Nong - 5G Hydroponic Chinese Medicine Cultivation Program".

The project aims to enhance students' understanding of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese culture through hydroponic cultivation of Chinese medicinal herbs. Students also have the opportunity to collaborate with university students in conducting herbal analysis research using advanced scientific research equipment on university campuses. This not only strengthens their knowledge in relevant scientific fields but also helps them plan for future studies and career development.

學校參與香港青年協會全健思維中心所推行的「Project MAIL計劃」,於初中設立資訊素養課程,教導學生如何在網絡世界自處及拒絕不道德的言行,保障和促進資訊社會健康發展。

Our school actively participated in the 'Project Mail' organized by Wellness Plus of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. The projectaims to launch Information Literacy Education in junior forms and educate students about coping with unethical behaviors online, therebyensuring the flow of information in society.

學校參與聯合國教科文「全球媒體與資訊素養周」,以多元化活動塑造素養校園氛圍,提升學生對善用媒體及資訊的關注,建立正確的網絡言行。

Our school actively participatedin the UNESCO Global MIL Week, creating a literacy-rich campus through a variety of activities. These activities aim to raise students' awareness of the proper use of media and the essential Internet etiquette.

對外推廣 -《小學聯校人工智能技能及素養與社會智慧應用協作計劃》

Joint Primary Schools AI Technology and Literacy Promotion Scheme

學校聯同香港青年協會於區內外十間小學,開展有系統的資訊素養教育課程,並由香港浸會大學新聞系李月蓮教授作為計劃顧問,以資源學校角色,支援小學開展資訊素養教學,及聚合成專業學習社群。

Our school jointly organized a systematic Literacy Education course for 10 primary schools in Hong Kongin collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. The project consultant for this initiativewas Prof. Alice Y. L. Lee from the Department of Journalism at HKBU. We supported Information LiteracyEducation in primary schools and contributed to the establishment of a professional learning community.
